Abstract

The layer shows habitat suitability (given in %) of commercial fish Cod adults (Gadus mohrua) in the Baltic Sea for the decade 1990. Habitat suitability was estimated using a species distribution model (TIMoFiD) within the scope of the project CoastalFutures, founded by German Ministry of Education and Research (grant No: 03F0911F). The model used fish abundance and environmental data collected during the ICES-coordinated International Bottom Trawl Survey over 30 years. Temperature data used for model fitting were retrieved from AHOI.
