Datasets are spatial data layers. As a preview, the layer is displayed with a sample style in a preview map. Each dataset can be explored individually and downloaded in standard formats.
Datasets are displayed in maps. A map can use multiple datasets as layers and display more information about the data via charts and graphs.
Documents are datasets without direct location information. For example, tabular data, photographs and videos, or additional information about how a data layer was acquired. These data are also available for download.
The topic-specific atlases are curated data sets of the Thünen Atlas. Here you will find web applications specifically developed for the respective data, such as the Land Atlas, or Thünen Agricultural Atlas.
